2008 Year Tracker Book

This past Christmas, my husband bought me a scrapbook kit from Mike's. You know the ones - coordinated pp, some die cuts, brads, buttons, ribbons and the like. Honestly, I wasn't sure what I would do with it. I felt bad because he was so proud of the gift. After all, he bought me something scrap-related!

Then it came to me. A couple of magazines had challenged us to do a book about a year in the life of our family.

I've decided to dedicate two pages to each month of the year. The first page simply holds the calendar page from that month. I'm taking it from the calendar that I have hanging in my kitchen. That way it shows ever little appointment and big event such as the circus! The second page has photos taken from the highlights of that month. I'm printing all the photos in sepia tone to keep uniform.

Here's the pages from January:

I (finally) updated my gallery!

It took hours, but I finally got the gallery attached to my resume updated. The layouts shown here are just two of many that I posted today. Over the next week, I hope to update my other galleries. Wish me luck.

If you want to check out my handwork, please click on the link to my resume at the right. From there, click on the link on the resume that takes you to my gallery. TFL!

Tell Me - When Your MoJo is a NoGo: What do YOU do?

What do you do? I went through it recently and just sort of went with it. I kept up on the message boards, did a little shopping online and in brick and mortar stores, read the magazines and browsed the galleries. Finally, I got the gumption to organize my scrap corner and start back.

I have noticed quite a few posts on various boards from people who have lost their MoJo and want it back. So, my question to everyone who stops by is, "how do you do it?"

Leave me a comment with your answer and let's see what everyone comes up with! If I get enough comments/suggestions, I will feature them (with credit to the authors) on my sidebar over there! It just might help you in the future!
